University Professor
Doctor in Chemical Sciences from the University of Barcelona, she has been Professor of Analytical Chemistry at the Rovira i Virgili University since 2010 and Distinguished Professor at the URV since 2018. Her research activity focuses on the development and application of new analytical methods for the determination of organic pollutants in environmental samples, with special emphasis on improving both sample treatment techniques, with the development of new materials for extraction techniques, and chromatographic determination coupled to mass spectrometry, using state-of-the-art instruments. She has been the principal investigator of several research projects. She has taught classes in the areas of analytical chemistry and environmental analysis in both undergraduate (Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Oenology) and master's (Applied Chromatographic Techniques, Industrial Chemistry and Environmental Law) studies and has supervised a large number of doctoral theses in these same areas.
